The Toro
“Toro” is a 1984 Henriques 35’ Maine Coaster Downeast style Fishing boat. Toro was completely refit in 2016 with a new 425 horsepower digital Cummins QSB diesel engine, giving her a very efficient cruise at 21 knots. This boat was designed completely with inshore fishing in Virginia Beach in mind. She is equipped with new Garmin radar, chartplotter, autopilot, and side scan, down scan, and panoptix technology. Fish cannot escape this boat. Toro has a small cabin with a head and generator to offer air conditioning or heat. Toro has a stereo so you can listen to talk radio or blast your favorite music while you fish. Toro offers a huge cockpit with the most fishing space of any charter boat of its size class in Rudee Inlet and a tall tower to see schools of drum or packs of cobia for sight casting. Toro is compliant with all Coast Guard safety equipment standards and is operated by a USCG licensed professional captain and crew.
